NYC Korean Parade draws a crowd
October 5, 2015
Manhattan’s Avenue of the Americas was transformed into a Korean cultural celebration Saturday for the 2015 Korean Parade.
The event was organized by the Korea Times New York and gathered 120 Korean organizations and businesses in a two-hour parade.
Among those in attendance were grand marshal and New York Assemblyman Ron Kim, Assemblyman Edward Braunstein and Palisades Park Mayor James Rotundo.
A Koreatown playground on 32nd Street, featuring booths, food, demonstrations and performances, drew a crowd.
TKC-TV hosted a K-pop singing contest. Nine acts, ranging from elementary school students to a man in his 70s, competed for the winning title.

Will there be a Korean Parade scheduled for this year? If so, when & where?
Thank you.
