NYFW Concept Korea designers chosen

Designers for New York Fashion Week’s annual Concept Korea have been chosen.

The project, sponsored by the South Korean government, is an effort to showcase home-grown designers to the American market.

Two menswear designers, Kang Dong-jun of DBYD and Jang Hyung-chul of Ordinary People, and two womenswear designers, Lee Seok-tae of KAAL.E.SUKTAE and Lee Ji-yeon of jarret, were chosen by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and by the Korea Creative Content Agency.

The show will take place Sep. 10 to 17.
