Star chef Kristen Kish hosts new Travel Channel show
August 20, 2015
Korean American star chef Kristen Kish is the co-host of a new Travel Channel show, “36 Hours,” alongside sports analyst Kyle Martino.
The show follows Kish and Martino as they travel to different cities in search of great cuisines in 36 hours in partnership with the New York Times, which will provide research and expertise about each region.
Kish, who won “Top Chef” in 2012, left her post as chef de cuisine at Boston’s high-end Menton last year.
A Korean-born adoptee and former model, Kish grew up in Kentwood, Michigan, before attending Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago.
The show premiered Monday.
